This article was originally published by Ethan Huff at Natural News.

During a recent appearance on The Joe Rogan Show, Dr. Casey Means spilled the beans about just how sick and decrepit America’s population has become in the age of chemicals, pharmaceuticals, 5G, vaccines, and other modern-day abominations.

“We are getting destroyed and it’s very recent,” Dr. Means told Rogan and his audience. “And it’s accelerating.”

As of this writing, about 74 percent of, or one in four, Americans is either overweight or obese – and that figure seems to be rising all the time. Young adults are also developing cancer at a rate of 79 percent higher compared to 10 years ago.

“Twenty-five percent of men under 40 now have erectile dysfunction,” Dr. Means added.

“Fifty percent now of American adults have type 2 diabetes or prediabetes. These were diseases where there was one percent of Americans in 1950 had type 2 diabetes. Now, it’s 50 percent of Americans have prediabetes or type 2 diabetes.”

“The American food supply is literally poison”

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been saying many of the same things while campaigning, both as an independent candidate for president and as a top pick for Donald Trump’s cabinet should the former president win a second term.

Like Kennedy, Dr. Means understands that something is very, very wrong with public health in America today, especially compared to not that long in the past when most people were generally considered to be healthy.

“Alzheimer’s, dementia are going through the roof,” Dr. Means warned. “Young adult dementias have increased, like, three times since 2012. So, early onset dementias.”

Even more disturbing is the risk of developing cancer, which is higher than ever. Today, one out of every two people, or 50 percent of the population, will develop cancer at some point in life, while another one in 36 will develop autism.

“That was one in 150 in the year 2000,” Dr. Means explained about how autism was relatively rare even as recently as the turn of the century.
“In California where I live, [autism rates are] one in 22. One in 22 with a lifetime neurodevelopmental disorder.”

Every year, infertility rates increase by another percentage point, she continued, while 77 percent of young Americans are no longer even eligible to serve in the military because of obesity and/or drug use.

Then there is the autoimmune disease crisis, which is increasing by a whopping 13 percent year over year.

“Heart disease, which is almost totally preventable, is the leading cause of death in the United States, killing around 800,000 people per year,” Dr. Means added. “It’s basically like all of us are a little bit dead while we’re alive.”

As difficult as it might be to acknowledge these sobering statistics, they serve as a pertinent reminder that America as a whole is sick – so sick, in fact, that its future may be on the precipice.

“It’s so bad right now,” tweeted The Vigilant Fox (@VigilantFox). “So many people report getting into the ‘best shape of their lives’ the moment they leave America. That tells you that the American food supply is literally poison.”

I've been very much aware of this the last few years, and am thankful I'm retired so I have time to cook three meals a day from scratch from good ingredients.
It all kinda went downhill when both spouses needed to work and so convenience foods came out. I remember my mom (a single mom in California) was thrilled when all the easy stuff was available in the grocery store. She wasn't much of a cook to begin with, but could make something up with convenience food. We didn't really eat out much, and when we did it was the cheap bag of burgers at the local place. I think convenience food ingredients have gotten worse since all that time, after a generation of people were used to cooking meaning something out of a box...replacing what might of been ok ingredients in the beginning to non edible garbage now. I know for a fact that ding dongs are not made the same as they were when I was a kid. And back when tv dinners made their debut, they were considered a treat. I thought it was a super special night to get a tv dinner on the tv tray in front of the TV watching, "Flipper".

It starts with women no longer cooking. I think at some point American women must have been told they shouldn't cook or something. You have to be able and willing to cook or there is very little way to eat healthy. Restaurant food is as bad as fast food. It's full of calories, fat, sugar , with a tiny broccoli that is probably full of pesticide and not washed properly on the side for garnish.
Just look at the list of crap in regular store bread. My bread , Sourdough rye has rye flour, some wheat flour and salt, that is it. White bread I bake has flour, a little sugar , salt and a little butter. Store bread has flour, corn syrup, canola oil crap and a boat load of chemicals. This goes for any food you buy that is processed. Even simple pasta sauce has corn syrup and chemicals in it. Mine I do at home ( canned) does not. But you have to be willing to make it, and spend a lot of time cooking and preparing food instead of watching netflix or whatever women do that don't cook. I even cooked when my kids were young and I had a professional job. We just ate later. My kids took lunch to school because the school lunch was crap .

How many of those tubbys are getting "free" food from welfare/food stamps etc?
they should go back to the past where they handed out actual food that needed to be made to poor people, or at least that is what I have heard from older people. I worked with someone who told me that when she was young her family was poor and they got flour, blocks of cheese, carrots , some ground meat sometimes , some apples, stuff like that

We almost always eat at home - only eating out when we travel and travel is minimal at the moment.

That helps, I"m sure. And we use real , not fake stuff. But still........it is impossible to avoid all of the bad things that are put into all foods these days.

No way.

Most poor people can't even dress themselves in the morning.

Do you really think they would spend the time to actually cook? (In between doses of pot/meth/coke/heroin?)

Besides, they are usually functionally illiterate and couldn't read a recipe if they had to.

People today think that if they open a can and put the food in a microwave, that they are cooking.
If they know enough to take the food out of the can before hitting START, that's kindof cooking. For them, at least. They may end up with poor quality food, but one can do that with heat and their frying pan just as easily.

don't lump pot in with the rest..I use it regularly to function ( anxiety issues) and sleep and I have no problem doing anything ...just making a correction here

plus how hard is it to boil some veggies, fry some meat and put some rice in a cooker? I think people that say they don't know how to cook are just making excuses. There are million vidoes on youtube telling you exactly how to even make elaborate meals. I think it just comes down to lazy , nobody can be THAT stupid. Or can they ?

I have thought about leaving the country as we're obviously under attack in every way possible. My husband would never leave though.

not just in America, we have an Obesity crisis in the UK too.
I keep telling people about the chemicals and stuff in processed food but most dont care, all they want is cheap food.
a lot of people dont cook from scratch any more and eat ready meals- just slam it in the microwave for a couple of minutes, thats not cooking, it might be convenient but its not cooking as we know it.

My mother was a typical brainwashed ninny who bought Cocoa Crispies and Capn' Crunch for breakfast. I was a physical mess. It took many years of eating quality food to recover from it. Now I'm older and it's harder to cook from scratch but I still try.

Keep the ingredients simple. Recipes calling for ten different ingredients, and weird ones at that, don't need to be in your line up.
And make sure you have basic ingredients on hand for cooking regular stuff in your pantry.
My biggest problem is not cooking in such a large quantity. Husband does not necessarily like leftovers for some reason. I made potato salad yesterday, and I really should of made half that amount. We had five children, and I'm still used to cooking for a crowd.

Oh yes they are!

This is all part of the overall plan to dumb-down, sicken, and kill Americans. My husband told me even the ketchup from Canada is just tomatoes and possibly spices, but the ketchup from US is full of sugar and unhealthy ingredients. We need to read labels - but even then I wonder if everything is listed that's in it.

When you consider that all food - even organic - in the grocery stores are irradiated we don't stand a chance. We have poor soil where we're at and only grow a few tomatoes and peppers in pots but boy are they good. I picked some the other day and fried them up with onions and the taste cannot be beat by anything you buy at the store.

My husband bought tomatoes at the grocery store and I don't know what the heck they sold us but they were not tomatoes.

I saw a video of this guy who got Kraft cheese and held a lighter to it and it didn't melt! It actually turned the cheese into some kind of charred material. The guy doing the video said it smelled like plastic burning.

So what are they selling us in grocery stores?

I see all these addicts videotaped on the streets of Kensington PA and I can't help but wonder where the heck they're getting the money to buy drugs? Can anyone clarify?

Then I wondered, if they're getting high they're not working and supporting themselves, so how are they paying for their necessities?

I spent most of my life eating farm food and drinking raw milk. I don't get sick. The one exception is food from the store and restaurants. They do evil things to me (who needs exlax) to the point that I would rather not eat at all if that is on the menu.

I still do big mega batch cooking. The freeze dryer makes it worthwhile. The texture sometimes suffers, but real food more than makes up for it.

I get very tired cooking, it takes a lot of time to mass produce, but one day I will be able to just sit back and soak my butt on the front porch in my big soup pot.

Pan handling, petty theft, prostitution, robbing their relatives, burglary, robbery, etc., etc.

An addict will do unbelievably depraved things for a fix.

I wonder how they pay their rent? They must have rent or a mortgage? If they're non-functioning what do these people do? Maybe I just think simply or something but living is expensive! If they're laying on the sidewalk high I guess they steal everything? Have you ever seen these people standing in odd postures on something called "tranq" I think. And people just walk by them. It's so sad. They'll probably never recover. When they interview people their teeth are bad and they look unhealthy.

They get gov't subsidized housing, gov't provide EBT cards for food, unemployment checks, WIC, welfare, etc., and so on. There is always money for everyone but veterans, functional Americans, victims of severe weather, etc.

I think you're supposed to take the wrapper off before eating it. Probably doesn't make much difference though.

That's horrible. My husband worked at a VA one time and he said that it was hard seeing those men so broken. We need to try to stand up for vets. People from my pain group talked about vets who killed themselves in the parking lot of the vet administration. If my family member was a vet I'd tell them to adopt a foreign last name - then they'd probably get all the freebies. But to have people struggle to pay their rent and then see those people be irresponsible and we're forced to support them isn't right.

This country is bass-ackward.

It didn't make much difference I think. He held the lighter to the cheese and it didn't melt. God only knows what they're putting in the food. I saw people showing magnets clinging to meat. Now what would cause that?
