Wow the Canadian bacon is pricey! Must have been actually from Canada back then. More than sirloin steak:eek:.
 
Couldn't find a pic of the model I had. 1940's Bendix washer/dryer. Got mine from an Aunt who passed away, it was in her baesment in like new condition in the late 1970's. I used that old thing for... I guess I sold the house in 1996 or 7 and it went with it. Never had one single but of trouble with it, none. I worked for a living so had plenty dirty duds for it, several load a week as it didn't fit much, few shirts and one pant, sock or 4. Would love to find another one.
