Alkaline Battery Failures

I don't think I have ever used Duracell, and I surely won't now. We use Energizer mostly, but I will admit it is hard for me to pass up Dollar Store Ray-O-Vacs. I haven't had a leakage problems, but the cheaper brands do not last as long. I keep everything in a Battery Daddy storage container, which you can get on Amazon. I will have to warn my wife to stay away from Duracell. Thanks for the tip.

They stopped making the red Duracell anyway, they actually would store forever!

I just saw a couple of posts on this topic & haven't caught up so someone may have already suggested this. Why not buy rechargeable batteries & buy a couple of hand crank rechargers? I'm not a prepper so maybe I haven't thought it out but that seems logic to me.
