American vets now receive absurdly generous benefits

With more than $137B benefits delivered to Veterans and survivors this year, VA continues to deliver more earned benefits to more Veterans than ever before

WASHINGTON — Today, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs announced that — three-quarters of the way through the fiscal year – it has granted benefits to 1.1 million Veterans and their survivors, an all-time record. In total, VA has awarded $137B in benefits, including $127 billion in compensation and pension benefits, to Veterans and survivors this year.

To reach this milestone, VA has processed more than 2 million claims in 2024 — another all-time record, on pace to surpass last year’s record by more than 27%. The grant rate for these claims is 64.6% and the average overall disability rating granted to Veterans this year to-date is 70%, equating to over $20,000 per year in disability compensation. etc...

I think that welfare payments should also be extremely hard to get, even impossible to get for anyone who is capable of working.

Also, if you can be forced to work if you are fit, to get any kind of fed/state welfare benefits
as a parasol payment. Right now you get a job you are cut off from many benefits.
Cutting back on/ capping the amount of new mother get per child & improving the school system to train students to understand & use money wisely, would help to clear thing up & save tons of money. Stopping useless wars & taking care of vets should be an amendment.
250 billion dollar to a war we are not in, is treason. Anyone who vote for it, should be out of office even if we had to vote a different party member in for four year. It would set a precedent
for the whole, that we the people are feed up & are in power, with out Physical abuse or riots.

Not to spilt hairs, but just because some Fat over paid millionaire wants to shirt the truth,
dose not mean it is not a war. Anytime a group of military personal go into another country
& kill women & children, it is a war.
