I know I’m in the minority here but truly think anyone that’s been on these drugs within a period of time should have it on record that a firearms background check would catch. I think any psychologist should also have to report anything to it that could be indicative of batshit crazy....

Im not getting on the Gaz conspiracy theory train ... but all of these guys have had contacts with the FBI or other Fed and mental health issues . If there were conspiracy Im thinking a Fast and furious type thing where someone made sure the firearms got in the wrong hands .

Shooting each month? I'd guess it's be more like at least a minor shooting per week now that school is back. Maybe not big shootings, but lots of smaller ones. My reason is because of all the hate being created by the media, young people don't know how to deal with it & lose their minds.

And Brent, I agree that people on these drugs should be limited with weapons access. And for people taking these drugs for years and years, all the more reason.

This last one throws a tantrum starts shooting into a crowd and kills himself . This stuff is not new but a couple decads ir so ago it would have made the local news and maybe a short clip at the National level .

For them, this IS the media...their media. They may not watch the news, but they are bombarded with it in ads, on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. And of course, they just take what they see and regurgitate it. Half don't even read past the headline. Or they'll THINK they are, and then use a Snopes article to refute it (without even READING the Snopes article....which in politics, is about as trustworthy as the Weekly World News).....

They are like sheep....being herded this way or that, all the while, being convinced they are the shepherds....while us wolves are like, "look at those dumb sheep, thinking they are the shepherds..." (then we realize, we aren't wolves, just dogs, being used by the cowboys)....

I agree that it is publicized much more than it used to be, and in addition it seems to be more common in occurrence. In the old days nut cases got themselves killed. Back when it really was survival of the fittest. Now the dwindling numbers of fit people end up taking care of the masses of the unfit. I am getting pretty tired of it. Just recently they are starting more training programs so that repeat offenders don't end up back in jail. give them job training and they won't be back, LOL. So millions of dollars for a program that may benefit a very rare few inmates that actually change their lives. How about making jail a living hell not an opportunity for free training?

Jail doesn't matter.....they just dropped the charges on those guys training kids in the desert, to shoot up schools, even after killing a kid. How the hell does THAT happen? Guess a new training center will pop up soon.

The DA messed up and missed the timeline. Judge apparently had to let them go. But the DA can set up charges again in the future, but why did they miss the timeline is what I'd like to know. A ND the FBI isn't talking. I always sensed something was not right.

Okay, I read where a prosecutor in some city refuses to file any charges against any perp if they are arrested by certain police personnel.

The DA messed up and missed the timeline. Judge apparently had to let them go. But the DA can set up charges again in the future, but why did they miss the timeline is what I'd like to know. A ND the FBI isn't talking. I always sensed something was not right.

Does make one wonder, doesn't it? (not really.....can't you see how neatly it was swept away?...do you see any stories about it now, in mainstream news, as a key story?). Now ask yourself why....you won't like the answer.
