Companies that are doing all this personal shopping are actually losing money. Maybe it will payoff one day. It is a growing business. I wonder how it is effectig WalMart?
I don't know. . . Last year my company had just started it and was in the hole because of it but this year we are in the green because it has grown so much. Not sure but I think Walmart does offer personal shopping in some places. I don't think it is catching on much yet.

From what I gather its a lot of younger generation too busy and want to free up time. Seems like these are the ones who want quick and already prepared meals. We have also started the next day home delivery. I wonder how that is going to go over in the big cities?Very interesting. I wonder if it the young folks or home bound folks. All that I talk to do not like it and want to pick out their stuff (older folks).

I haven't either. I would rather pick out my own items shopping than have someone else do it for me.My Walmart offers it, but I have never used it.
My daughter does it sometimes, but they give her substitutions if they are out of something. I don’t know if she okay substitutes in advance or not, bu I don’t like that. I never buy fruits and vegetables at Walmart, but I could imagine those people who do, are disappointed with the selection they receive.I haven't either. Walmart is national though, not just a regional chain. They are making policies based on a much broader area. One thing I’m curious about is amazon has never sold guns or ammo and I’ve never heard anything negative about them.In our area, the no selling ammo, is going against the majority of Wal-Mart's customer base.

Google "virtue signaling" because that is exactly what Dick's and Walmart have engaged in.[Walmart CEO] McMillon said that he would send letters to the White House and congressional leaders that "call for action" on "common sense" gun safety measures. McMillon said Congress should debate re-authorizing the assault weapons ban and expand background checks.
