I didn't want to start a new thread for this so I'll add it here , kind of ties in .
The modern Millennial horror movie doesn't need Slashers or Monsters it just needs to be spooky. Either a ghost or worst of all the deep dark woods . So I took a picture today that is sure to scare today's young Adult .
LOL, Oh no! The outdoors!!!
We did end up going to Spooky, but since we waited till the last minute to decide, the photo ops for Moulder and Scully (David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, from the X-Files) were sold out. Oh well.
Sometimes Gaz I think you're speaking in a foreign language. I don't recognize any of the names you mention. Almost none anyway.
Well, mostly sci-fi, fantasy, and horror celebs. TV and movies. Some are pretty mainstream though.
Our biggie this time was a photo with Elvira in costume. Believe it or not, she's in her 60's, and still amazing in person. Incredibly funny and nice too.
Others.
Kathy Najimy (Hocus Pocus, Sister Act)....bit of a left wing nut, but eh... Family favorite Halloween movie...
And Christine Elise from Child's Play (Chucky movie): (had her sign it to our late son, David, as it was one of his favorite movies.)
And at least got a shot of Moulder and Scully at the panel...
Next con is the Spooky one in March (in Orlando). Christina Ricci, Dee Wallace (ET, Cujo), Henry Thomas (ET, Haunting of Hill House), and others.
Went to a small one last weekend, in Lakeland (first one for that city), as it's close to me, but already had the celebs that were there for the most part. Still, it was fun, and the first con my daughter has been to with us, in a long while.... Wife got 2nd place in the costume contest, so that was cool too. (I look super fat in this pic for some reason....oh yeah, the reason is that I'm fat).
