Any of you guys use an electric razor?

Hubby uses an electric shaver and he shaves every day. In case anyone cares, I use an electric razor, too, on my legs in the rare occasion I wear a dress. I usually wear long pants.

They work, don't they? :)
I can't believe it took me so long to progress past the stone-age of slicing my neck and face. :(

I use a cordless rechargeable trimmer for shaving, every week or two, unless I'm going somewhere. Since I retired I don't need to clean shave every day. The wife seems happy. That's really all that matters.
Pretty much in the same boat as you. I work, but shave once a week for church on Sundays. Electric, first, then follow up with a razor. Beard is just too course to hit with a razor, first. Electric doesn't get everything done as neatly as an actual blade, hence the follow up with a traditional razor.

When I worked in the ME my barber would use a straight razor to clean up around my ears and neck. I kept a gun pointed at his belly under the sheet when he was using that razor on my neck, just in case he slipped.
Unless the Barber was reaching over Your shoulder to do the slipping...!!! :waiting::waiting:

I have been eying one of these for a year.
Been watching the Philips Norelco 3800 and Amazon finally put it on sale for $63 instead of $80.
Told DW about it and she ordered it for my birthday (in May) and it came in early.
Told her that we needed to put it on charge asap.
Then I told her that everything electric needs to be "function-tested" before use.
(You know, just in case it doesn't work:LOL:)
My birthday present:D:

I was going to wait until I had tested it for months before writing a review about it.
2 things I did not expect:
1. That it would be way faster and easier than a bladed razor. Like changing from mowing with a 20" push-mower to a 60" 3-blade riding-mower.
2. The flip-up trimmer on it for sideburns, mustaches, and beards would be completely useless since I don't have those. Boy was I wrong!!!
I have always hated the hair that flips out over my ears, even 2 days after a haircut.
GONE IN 30-SECONDS!:woo hoo:

I'll chime back in if I find anything I don't like:thumbs:.
I thought I would update my 'testing' reports...
Still using it every day, still using the original cutters, still works perfectly, over a year and a half later. :)
