I have quite a few of them, most in my dresser drawer and a few on display. While not one of my cool military unit or operation coins, I have had this one with me for some time. I like the message and it speaks to me. Plus it's a good reminder.

Typically have a deep meaning
Yes, indeed. And usually carried by those who have earned them.

I served in Vietnam with the US Army 5th Infantry Division. Our Red Diamond shoulder patch is very dear to me.

Ill post a picture of mine. Given to me at a Unit reunion from my dads outfit when he was KIA that I was invited to. I don't carry it, but it means the world to me. Given by his brothers at the time. They welcomed me with open arms
That truly was an honor, my friend.
Your father was my Brother, that makes you family.

Brothers in arms,
In body and breath,
Soldiers at heart,
In life and in death,
A warriors spirit,
In us both Imbued,
Brothers in blood,
Brothers in feud.

Brothers in arms,
A unit unbroken,
Kindred in cause,
Reasons unspoken;
Fight side by side,
Struggle in silence,
Victory brings strength,
Enraptured by Violence.

Brothers in arms,
Sibling in creed,
Embodied as one,
As a unit we bleed;
We cannot be broken,
Though trials will test,
Until victory is ours,
We shall never rest.
