I went with google home for my setup. My reason being, I already have an android phone, so Google already has all of my info anyways. They won't get anything more than they could already get through the phone that stays in my pocket. I wasn't too fond of a company like Amazon getting access to it though.

Google is the largest vacuum of personal information on the net even if you don't have a droid, Amazon would be the least of my worries.

Basically, what I'd like to do...

1) Set the thermostat remotely
2) Tell it to play a show and have it do so (or music, etc.)
3) Have it make a phone call by voice
4) Tell it to display a particular ranch camera
5) Ask it about the weather, forecast, my calendar, etc.
6) Have it order from local restaurants, or order from the local Publix, etc.

Probably a few other things as well. It can do most of this, I think, but it's still a bit cumbersome in HOW it does all of this, so not quite there yet.
