we are farmers. I will let you know if President Trump does something that hurts us directly. If he does something that will hurt us directly and without a good reason, I will vote Democrat next time, even if I have never done so in the past. How is that?
He has the Congress and has good plans. You should at least give him a chance to see what actually gets accomplished.

But on the other hand, if he doesn't accomplish anything, it's all on him. But he's only been there for a few weeks and so far he hasn't done anything that upset me at all. I will definitely post it on here if he does

In his first few days in office, he released water from Northern California back down to Southern California, allowing thousands of farmers the water needed to begin planting produce again. Our reservoirs are now full, there is no talk of water rationing. The people in California, especially the farmers, are elated.

No. But they were probably standing next to a criminal when said criminal got rounded up. They weren't targeted, but you wouldn't knowingly stand next to a target if you had an ounce of brains in your head.

The sanctuary cities are refusing to let ICE grab criminal illegals when they exit jail, so ICE has to go out into the community to get the criminals. And those who happen to just be standing next to a criminal (don't do that!) get caught up. ICE never said they weren't going to deport garden variety illegals. They simply said they wouldn't target them (yet).

Bottom line: (1) Don't knowingly stand next to criminals, and (2) urge your sanctuary city to hand over criminal illegals as they exit jail, so garden variety illegals don't have to worry about accidentally standing next to one.

Trump has only been in office for two weeks. He's done a lot of great things, but hasn't done anything to "hurt farmers" or "raising food prices". Please explain.

there is a problem with that. How do you know they are illegal? Anyone can buy a drivers license or social security card.
When I was working, and hired contractors, they would bring copies of ids for their workers to prove they are here legally, but then you show up on a construction site, and there are different people working. If you asked why, " oh those got sent to another job, this is a different crew" and so on. Its almost impossible to catch. I don't know how you would catch any of them unless you do some background check to see if they are legit, or attach a finger print to every birth certificate to proof you are who you say you are or something and then you would have to check every single day to make sure they are still the same.

Son is going to get a "real ID" tomorrow so he can get in and out where he works , I wonder if that somehow is harder to get a fake one than the current drivers licenses
