Son and I were just talking about this. Books, art, film. Eliminating the "need" for human knowlege and skills. I have two sisters that are authors. One is successful and writes. The other, not so much, did a few, then had AI help with a detective type book, writing the story and the book cover. It was not good, but the others she did weren't either. I really have a problem with AI and alot of the tech.

A computer can only spit out what is put into it. AI is just a term for bigger, smarter computer. It will look at all the info and take the best fitting to answer with. If the scenario wasn't put in it then it won't have it to answer with. The human mind can come up with all kinds of different scenarios, albeit slow, but look at things in different ways than a computer. It was still programed by a human so it can make mistakes and have the same bias as the programmer. Read Issac Asimov's "The Mule". A futuristic civilization with a computer telling the "Government" what to do in certain circumstances. It worked for centuries until the mule came along.

And therein lies the problem.
An AI powered computer will only produce output consistent with what was put into it in the beginning.

@SoulSeeker is correct. What we call AI, which is not AI, does not write or create anything, it plagiarizes data from elsewhere and spits it back out. All it can do is locate, copy and paste much faster than a human can.

There was a court case thrown out recently because the lawyer used AI to assess some data used in calculating a financial loss. The lawyer could not prove to the court what source material was used in the calculation and the case was tossed. He would have been better off doing his own work.

It doesn't take AI to give bad info just look at all the prepping "experts" that have very little clue
