I belonged to another forum for over a year and the subject of my sexuality was never brought up because well.. I was there for prepping, not to discuss the fact that I'm a lesbian. However, I made a few connections with people that were in the same region as me and during a thread we were discussing our food prep procedures and I mentioned the way my wife does something. Well, the responses that I received when they realized I am gay, were scary to say the least. Let's just say, I am glad I didnt share any personal info because I would literally be in fear for my life at this point. People that weren't even part of our initial post joined in to threaten me and my family. Needless to say, I had to delete my account from that site, losing all connections made. So I guess I just want to see how people here react before I get personally invested in any of these threads or people that may be nearby.

That being said, I know that there will always be some that do not (and I fully do not expect everyone to) agree with or be okay with me being a homosexual. I only post this because in the last forum, it seemed like EVERYONE was violently against it and I just want to find a forum about prepping with members that are more focused on prepping and dont care about sexuality so much. If that is a thing that exists. So here I am...

I would like to add a few things about me personally, since this is the introduction section. I am hear to learn and share my tactics with others (because even when you know a lot, there is still more to learn). I have been on and off prepping since I was in my early 20's. I divorced my first wife in December of 2018 and she kept ALL of my stock (which was A LOT) and my supplies (even camping supplies, even though she hates camping). She did it because she's a terrible person. I kind of gave up on it for a little while after that and I just recently started getting back to it. I am not an extremist liberal. I believe in the constitution (especially the 2nd amendment), I would never vote for Sanders, I work (extremely hard) for everything that I have, and I don't have any gay agenda. To be completely honest, I dont even like most of the other gay people that I have met in my life, being gay seems to be all they want to talk about and immerse themselves in. I just want to be a person, that has real interests that I can share with other people. Other than this initial post, I'll probably never even discuss my sexuality with anyone unless they ask (aside from maybe mentioning how my wife does something, if its relevant to conversation).
 
Hello, I cannot speak for others but personally I dont give a flying f*** about anyones sexuality, skin colour, race, or religion, or political persuation. If you are a person fully commited as best you can be to our particular sub culture of Self reliance, Self determination, Self Sufficiency called Prepping or Survivalism then you are a prepper and that is all that SHOULD matter.

Like Bill, I could care less about your sex life or your marital relationship. My next door neighbors are Lesbian and are raising the sweetest little boy you will ever meet. They were going through a tough financial time, so the wife and I gave them a little gift card to buy themselves something fun. They used part of the gift card to buy us some fresh fruit. They are a real nice family. NOW if you tell me you are a liberal Democrat, we may not get along.

You brought it, We didn't ask and most of us here don't give a ****, if there is a certain aspect of your personal life you don't want public here, don't bring it up. If you choose to stay here I hope you have thick skin and don't take nothing personally, a lot of us will say things in jest not meaning to insult but in the same breath you have got to be willing to defend yourself and speak up, we have people here from all walks of life, conservative, libertarians and liberals and from different countries, we do talk politics here and everyone has a point of view, if a subject pisses you off don't engage the thread would be the best advice. You got to be able to take it and dish it in jest and we really try not to express personal attacks here *cough Brent deserved it *cough... kidding brent... well maybe :)

Bottom line, we are here to learn and teach, we all have something in common and that's a willing to survive and grow!

Happy from Ga. welcome. good forum. a lot of information. everyone helps when you ask a question. they'll be honest when you make a comment that's different. but at the end of the day that's okay too - we all have the same purpose to learn and grow with like minded preppers. But surely don't think you'll feel threatened. If you like debate you are in the right place. I'm just an observer on those I don't like controversy. I love everyone.

As probably the longest standing Moderator on this forum I personally can’t think of a time when we went after someone for being gay.. I personally have many gay friends and family. That being said we will hammer people for their beliefs if we disagree. Doesn’t makes us right. It’s just that nature and life are tough and if you can’t hold your own here you won’t do well out there. THICK SKIN IS A REQUIREMENT. You and your wife are welcome as far as I care. I personally think that anyone has the right to miserable like the rest of the married idiots. Lol. Good luck to you.

If you have good prepping knowledge (sounds like you do) then people will want to hear about that. If you have opinions on anything related to politics or any other issues and you share them, there will probably be someone who disagrees with some aspect of one of your positions and they will argue with you and it can get heated sometimes. But at the end of the day most of us are here for the prepping because that's what matters.
 
Hello, I'm a heterosexual, who likes a variety of different porn. Sometimes it's MILF, sometimes it's college girls, sometimes it's step sister, or step mom. POV is pretty good most of the time, sometime JOI. I've never successfully done CEI. I'm not really into bi racial, I hope that doesn't offend you. It's not a racist thing. I also recently bought four Real Sex Dolls for when SHTF and I intend to run a brothel with them to make money to survive. The other day, my wife went to help her mother and I had a few drinks. Welcome to the forums from upstate NY personally speaking I could give a rats ass about your sexuality I'm here for prepping & current events discussions ONLY whatever you do in your own residents is your business if you don't force your opinion on me I won't force my opinion on you if I disagree with you I will do so respectfully all be it with some slight profanity
 
I don't think I will be able to sleep anymore without my daily dose of survival and the pity party, dripping and ooooozzzzzinnng with the comtempt for the rest of the world which did not have the identical feelings, thought, desires and cravings of my own mystical and perfect self, and proof that creation makes no mistake during evolution....GP
