Hi All,

I have been prepping since I started to watch the show Doomsday prepper. I found it interesting and while I am more the European type of prepper (so no weapons or preparing for Armagedon) but more preparing for a temporary crisis, power grid that goes down, flood, .. I do enjoy to read about it.

I have been mostly active on Dutch prepper forums and groups, but felt like this could be interesting to read about also.

My other interest is blogging. I keep a few blogs, my latest about Financial independence.
And now I also wrote a blog about what Financial Independence and Prepping have in common. There is some similarities as it turns out :)
Feel free to read about it here.

Warm Welcome from the Arizona valley folks. :USA:

Howdy from a Texan .... and welcome to the forum and family...there's quite a few knowledgeable folks here that'll gladly tell ya what you need to know,or at least point ya in the right direction and/or give ya a good idea or 2..and by all means jump right oninwithany replies you have on a topic.

Welcome. Most here are common sense people prepping for whatever life throws at us, not the zombie apocalypse. I grew up where hurricanes are common, so prepping was normal for me. Personally, guns are fun, but only a small part of prepping overall.
