I would love to get a real number on how many Federal employees have already been eliminated. I had heard that he (Trump) already eliminated over a thousand career bureaucrats, and today all of the DEI offices were shut down. IMHO that is a great start.
Many more will eliminate themselves.
With the 'return to work' order, thousands that parked themselves on the couch since the covid 'work from home' thing, they sold their cars years ago and they ain't coming back.
They will 'self-terminate'.

I am impressed by the rate at which Trump is firing off multiple action so quickly. The MSM simply does not have enough air time to drum up outrage over so many issues. Top that off with the short attention span of the uneducated voter who can't keep track of what they should be mad about next.
Imagine if you will a giant guarding a swamp be assailed by one bee attacking his eye (DEI) while another goes for the other eye (deportation) and another flies up his nose (no EV mandates). Meanwhile a crowd rushes past him (drill baby drill, end birthright citizens, Gulf of America, plus another 70 or more).

Although that is a legitimate concern in my opinion I doubt that will happen. I think/hope the main topic of eliminating the illegals and other freeloaders will cleans the financial burden more than enough to finally give a break to our retirees.
To add on to that, and I haven't paid much attention to the topic, if it comes to doing away with Social Security for future generations people need to understand the origins and history of social security and realize it was never meant to be a retirement plan. Todays teenagers and 20-somethings and even the younger 30-somthings need to understand that they need to invest in their own retirement. Whether it is their own savings account, or their own stock investments, or their own 401K's, or their own IRA. For any youngin' to intelligently assume the government is their retirement program is insane. As for those of us older folk we deserve to reap what what paid in. But, for me personally, my government pay from Nevada was exempt from social security withholdings due to Nevada Public Employees Retirement account. But, since I have been working the past 12 years since retirement I will qualify to receive some social security money when I reach the age of 62 or 65 or whatever age they claim I must attain. BUT, for ever dollar I get from social security Nevada will deduct 1 dollar from my retirement. I suppose 50% is better than nothing and I paid in to it before and after my government gig so I will take what I can get.
Back on topic, I am absolutely amazed he made it through his 4 years without croaking on his own or being removed due to medical/mental issues. How in the heck did the dems not make an effort to get Kamaltoe to replace dementia Joe so she could be the first female, Indian, Asian, Suck-Her-Way-To-The-Top president?
I too was amazed he made it through the entire term. I didn't think he would last six months. JMHO, but when the cabal realized how bad the hyena was the entire term turned out to be Weekend at Berny's. "OMG!! We have to keep this guy alive, and prop him up. She is an absolute moron. Even dumber than him if that is possible. We can't possibly allow her to get into the top spot."

I guess I can take the pins out of the butt of my Biden VooDoo doll. I'm all for an increase in SS but Have to be careful. I was thinking about all getting enough to be out of poverty but that would put a worse strain on SS recipients. Right now my rent is subsidized so I pay 29%. My medical is 100% with a few perks from it. To come out of poverty would mean paying 100% rent and medical plus no more perks like free rides to/from doctor visits, I get an allowance of $140 a month from insurance for food, OTC drugs, cleaning and hygiene products. So to raise enough to be out of poverty would be worse than being in poverty! I believe the poverty level now is $15k annual for me. Even getting $24k a year would make it about like now after paying for all the items. To fix SS put it back where it was, in it's own separate account like from the beginning. Politicians keep taking the funds for other stuff and tell us it's going bad! Put it back and leave it alone and it will recover. There is a responsible way to access the surplus funds without destroying SS!
