There's a difference between illegal and legal according to our laws. There's a difference being made because of the conversation being that if they're sent back, who is going to pick your produce. I am tired of that argument because these illegals are being paid to pick by large corporations, large Tyson type chicken house, large China owned Smithfield pork houses, not by regular farmers. So the corporations lose out. I don't care. Their dependence on chemical fertilizers brought in from Ukraine makes me sick.
Yep, I eat organic. I grow and raise organic and butcher my own.

Small farms cannot feed the masses.

Small farms are discouraged to feed the masses. The govt gives breaks to the big corporations producing crap food. Chemical fertilizers come from Russia and Ukraine. This is not how food was intended to be grown. Our soil is being trashed.
If you took away 50 large corp farms from the US and replaced them with 50,000 small farm producers, I suspect food would be healthier, not have to travel so far, not have to employ illegals, and it would be a more logical "food chain". Hopefully RFK can encourage this, he does know what some of the problems are.
People living in cities have lost touch of what is food, how is it grown in a healthy manner, how to raise animals for food in a healthy manner. They just buy the junk at the grocery store, and think we need illegals to get it there for them.

They are stealing a place in America that would and should be given to someone waiting back home …waiting to immigrate legally. I've read the Amish use human manure as well as animal manure on their crops.

Those farms are our hope, unless you want to eat fake, ultraprocessed food. I have never ever heard of amish farmers using human manure. I don't know why they would. Amish have flushing toilets, you know. Even the Schwartzentrubers have toilets, and they are the most strict. So I think you read wrong.
You can live in the city all you want and eat city food all you want. Doesn't make a difference to me one bit.

I have no idea what a "living wage" even means.
No welfare. Some people may have to work 2 jobs if they want/need to. Many of us have had to do that in our lifetime rather than beg for taxpayer funded handouts.
