:dunno:
A friend of mine spent all summer out in bush Alaska prospecting. He hit Anchorage with just enough time to get on the next plane south. He desperately wanted to get his boots off. The stewardess caught him sprinkling Listerine on his socks to keep the odor down. He had a date by the time they hit Seattle.
you mean that I have been wasting time all these years cleaning up before going to town:brewing:

I'm wondering how one gets in and out of a thing like that. I'm not tall enough to gracefully step into something that high. I can imagine myself doing a head-first dive to get in, and a seal-flop into the grass to get out (mind your legs around that fire during the exit flop).
Thanks for that visual 🤣🤣🤣

The photographer moved the ladder, before she took the photograph.

The natives don't want you to get out - a slow simmer for a few hours and dinner is served.

sourdough, no matter what....you or parts of you will end up minty fresh and hey, in many parts of the world thats not a bad thing..

Assuming no open wounds.......???
I spray my hands and feet regularly with 90% rubbing alcohol, no issues yet other than it killed my foot funk.

70% alcohol & baby wraps are great when you have no running water.

Heck, they're great even with running water!
Soak a heavy duty shop wipe in Alcohol and put it in a zip lock,
wipe down after berry picking, then start a fire.
