My all time favorite truck, 1972 F100. I owned a '69 and a '78, would have traded both for a '72. I don't like the way this one sits, too low, doesn't look good. The 521ci racing engine looks good.

I recall going to tractor pulls and seeing 4 to 6 engines on one frame.
I wanna see those big trucks burn out of the nearest chicken coops (D.O.T. scales), that would be a comical sight!
Saw this DeSoto last time I was in town... it's parked along a road I regularly travel on my way to the library. I simply pulled to the curb to get this shot, but as I was pulling away I realized that the grille on this rig is loaded with chrome, so I'm gonna get another shot of it next time I travel down that road. Nice shape for the vintage, I'm guessing late '40s or early '50s? Might be older, perhaps Peanut knows more about these DeSoto cars, they look pretty good...
P.S. Pic was taken through my windshield, so there are dried water spots... next time, I'll get out and take proper pics, I didn't wanna disturb the home resident(s) this time around. However, that grille is totally worth a second look, lol...

Here's the grille on that DeSoto, but again, I took the pic from my car, since that street was kinda busy today and I didn't wanna deal with traffic going past. Meh, the pic still shows the chrome on that front end... not as much chrome as some old cars have, but still quite a bit.

I always liked that body style, though I like the old school "saloon cars" even better, lol...
