Funny, the alternator on this motor looks like an eyesore. But the one above doesn't look crappy.

But one is a ford engine, the other a chevy engine.

That carb in the hotrod picture is probably a modern Edelbrock (that is a copy of an AVS with some modern upgrades).And for the love! They need to take that POS Carter carb off of the SBC in #2!:
