Not a car, but the latest addition to the garage. My daughter just learned her knee injury is the trifecta - torn ACL, torn meniscus and torn MCL. She was set to start playing D2 volleyball this fall reporting to pre-season in August. This has drastically changed but she will likely be able to redshirt and still have 4 years eligibility. Surgery soon and a long recovery, but we're hopeful for next fall returning to the court. In the meantime, she can't drive and this little 2009 Schwin Hope 50 scooter with all hand controls is the best $800 I've ever spent. It will give her some freedom and mobility for the next few months before going to school in the fall. The knee brace is not visible on the right leg

Hey Matt,

Prayers sent for your Daughter's Healing!

Hope she does well in school...

Expensive "Boost".
What's that old phrase? ...
"With great power comes great responsibility".

All a little car needs is a turbo:D... My favorite video:

I love the story of how "Petty Blue" came about. It is so much about how things were back then...
They didn't have enough paint:
Wikipedia said:
"Petty Blue, as it's called, was created by the Petty family. According to Richard, the color was created by accident when they didn't have enough white or dark blue paint to cover the entire car. The resulting mix of white and blue proved to be very popular and remains on the No. 43 car to this day."
And probably the reason that most Mopars are found wearing monochromatic colors today.
They did have one downside...
"Yes officer, there were 4 cars racing on the street, 3 black ones and one that was bright orange".
:cop:...hard to hide in that one:rolleyes:.
