We were probably six months away from finishing the 61 and he decided he needed a driver so he bought this 64. We were just going to freshen it up. Now we're replacing the 6 with a 409 that's at the machine shop. I'm sure I'll be doing a complete paint soon.

The red Impala is one we helped the guy pull out a 348 and replace with the 409. The one under the cover is the one I'm doing. Lotta money in those four engines

You just keep giving me song ,Little Douce Coup, Reeve it up 409.
I liked the 396 engine too. And console stick shift.Of course I always prefered manual gera changing and popping the clutch.

Here you go Meer- They were an oldies cover band that was formed around a family locally here in Reno, Nv. They played outside shows for Hot August Nights, and were the house band for Paul Revere's club, "Kicks". They worked steady locally in the 1980's-1990's. The first vid is a composite of takes from a concert they played in Fresno. The 2nd vid was from a Hot August Nights car show event in 2010, and they are playing down at the A&W Drive In on Plumb Lane, south of downtown. Good people, but the folks got older, & I suppose the kids just went out & got real jobs.
