"however more recently outbreaks have occurred in more rural parts of England and the United States' mid-west region. Water and electrolyte replacement are essential treatments for cholera"

That's why it is imperative to have salt, sugar and baking soda in one's prep medical supplies

Home made electrolyte, one can just use salt and sugar but I always add baking soda
1 quart of water
2 tablespoons of sugar
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of table salt

Though with cholera don't add baking soda since it can make the diarrhea worse
