Looks like you have to be a member to read it. I assume they didn't like it?
Sorry about that. Here is a quote.

Spoiler alert: The movie ends with a black female soldier standing over a fictional U.S. president who refused to leave office. The female soldier shoots and kills the president.

The soldier represented Fani Willis, Letitia James, Kamala Harris, and all the Democratic “woman kings” willing to take any necessary step to stop Trump.

I sat inside the theater shocked. Shocked that this movie could be made. Shocked that it dominated the weekend box office, grossing $25 million, outdistancing America’s second-highest earner by $10 million. Shocked that alleged journalists could review the movie without acknowledging it’s a Trump derangement manifesto. Shocked that the movie hasn’t sparked intense outrage. Shocked that the script could be so stupid and disjointed.

Likely most people that went into theaters see it, thought it was about "The War Between the States, The Civil War".
I assumed that, with the title.:(

I finally broke down and rented Civil War. Boring. Few good scenes. Mainly a touchy-feely bore about a junior press photographer who stalks and gets an "in" with her mentor, who in the final scenes of the movie loses her life when shot by a US soldier while shielding the protege from his fire. The end scene is as described near the top/above. I wasn't as outraged by that scene as I was about the waste of time/the movie didn't really scratch the itch about what an actual 2nd civil war might be like for US.

Other than that...the secessionists won the war, in this case...

Another Trailer :

Starts out like The Walking Dead...!!!

Maybe like 28 Days Later, same Writer/Directer...?!?

So I watched this movie and it was not really politically biased. Before I watched it I heard about it on a national conservative radio program. They stated that A24 was specific that it was not about republicans or democrats in the America of today. Which is why they had Texas and California join up, something we all know would never happen. After watching the movie I agree that if someone chose to infer a political bias, it was a personal choice and not because it was presented on the screen.

It was however slow moving and not near as action packed as I was expecting, but it played out pretty well and was enjoyable enough that I could see me watching it again someday down the road. There was some spot on survival stuff and a few gun related goofs, but overall it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. I have seen far worse movies.

And that part at the end was 100% spot on. Soldiers posing for pics in front of the dead body of the opposition leaders is utterly common place in every war zone on the planet earth, from the civil war on. There were white, black, male and female soldiers posing.
