Cops arrest Antifa rioters in Seattle

November 06, 2024 Timothy Frudd

Seattle police officers made multiple arrests as Antifa attempted to stage a protest near the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone in the city. The arrests of multiple Antifa members ultimately prevented the group from carrying out a plan to conduct a riot on Election Day.

According to The Post Millennial, Seattle police officers had a major presence on Tuesday in the Seattle neighborhood where Antifa took control during the 2020 Black Lives Matter riots. The outlet noted that almost 100 Seattle Police Department officers followed Antifa around the neighborhood after protesters illegally marched in the street and vandalized property.

The Post Millennial reported that Antifa arrived at roughly 6 p.m. at Cal Anderson Park in black uniforms. The protesters had gas masks, goggles, helmets, and other riot gear. According to The Post Millennial, the protesters damaged park property with pro-Palestinian graffiti.

The Seattle Police Department shared pictures of the property damage caused on Tuesday by Antifa and noted that protesters were warned by loud speakers to stop damaging property and illegally marching in the streets. The Seattle Police Department also noted that there were at least five arrests made as a result of Antifa activity.

A Seattle flier shared on X, formerly Twitter, shows that Antifa had urged members of the community to “show their displeasure in the streets” on Election Day. The group claimed that a win for either former President Donald Trump or Vice President Kamala Harris would be a “win for genocide abroad and a militarized police state at home.”

According to The Post Millennial, Seattle police officers began making arrests after the Antifa members refused to leave the streets and stop damaging property at the park. When the Antifa members continued to disregard police warnings, law enforcement officials made additional arrests. A video of the confrontation between Antifa and Seattle police officers was shared on X.

The Post Millennial reported that after the initial arrests, Antifa appeared to regroup and continue vandalizing property and marching in the streets.

Following Antifa around on bikes and in police cars, Seattle police officers told the protesters, “Our intent here is to get back to a normal First Amendment event without criminal activity. The only way we’re going to interfere is if criminal acts are committed, or if you interfere with the police taking action. Our purpose here is to make sure that this is a safe event for everybody and to keep the streets clear.”

As police officers arrested more Antifa members, other protesters made threats against the police, saying, “This f-cking neighborhood would kill you if we had the chance,” and, “Get the f-ck out of here, pigs! Go f-cking die.”

They would act like that no matter who wins or loses, eh?

I think it's time to dig a nice big hole for Antifa.

They are Anarchists, who stand for nothing, and cannot live in a peaceful society. Maybe Seattle has learned their lesson, and won't tolerate the violence and crime. I surely hope so.

Antifa arrested? In Seattle? Is that a typo? I expected changes after Trump was elected, but not this fast.
I think even those in Seattle have wised up to the fact that it is 'all about the looting', not protesting:

It was nothing more than a group-message to organize the looters for when 'go-time' was.

It bothers me that the cops in most of the cities allowed Antifa to destroy their cities. Those domestic terrorists caused millions of dollars worth of damage in Omaha, Nebraska. Then they came across the bridge to Council Bluffs, Iowa. We didn't allow it. About 50 of us stood with about 25 cops. This is me with some cops. I had 2 guns and told that to the cops. They loved it. About 20 of us had AR-15s. We have open carry here.

How many times was "Stand Down" Heard back then...?!?

"Minneapolis: For the first few days of riots, Minneapolis police focused on defending their embattled 3rd Precinct building located at the center of the unrest. The mayor then ordered the police to stand down and abandon the building to the angry crowd that had surrounded it. The police withdrawal caused the situation to "spin[] out of control in the neighborhood around the precinct house"; the Precinct was burned to the ground, and "nearly every building around it [was] vandalized, looted or set on fire." Order was only restored when Gov. Walz, responding to pleas from local legislators, called in the National Guard. Walz said he didn't "know what the plan [was]" but wasn't "going to wait for the city to tell [him]," adding that the city officials "ha[d] lost control" and that their response was "an abject failure." Mayor Frey, defending his stand down order, acknowledged that police made "only a handful" of arrests across the first two nights of violence."

"Columbus: Although several highranking city officials denied this, multiple 911 operators informed callers reporting attacks by rioters that police were under orders to stand down: "We were told by our mayor to stand down, so the mayor has given [demonstrators] full range of the street," said one operator."

"Long Beach: Video clips showed looters "busting their way out of a boarded-up store … with armloads of clothes as officers watch from a few dozen feet away," as well as "looters bolting past a cluster of officers in riot gear, who are unable to grab a single one of them." City officials, while denying accusations of a stand-down order, admitted that the police response was lackluster; Long Beach Police Chief Robert Luna said the department expected only a few hundred peaceful demonstrators, and mistakenly thought that officers should preemptively "back off" in the hope "that people will protest peacefully" and "that there is voluntary compliance." ;) "

"Indianapolis: In Indianapolis, Mayor Joe Hogsett denied allegations of a stand-down order, but the city's police chief admitted, "We did allow the protesters"— who, the Chief claimed, were initially peaceful—"to have a little more space in the circle"; although officers remained in the vicinity, he said, "We simply backed off in an effort to give them space and to oblige their requests." According to local news, "[m]any business owners in downtown … are angry because they believe it is the choice to back off which gave instigators enough room to cause destruction, and by that time, officers were no longer in a position to handle it.""

That's what I keep trying ti tell people, all Antifa is, is the same crew that was called the Anarchists which came out of the same area, the Anarchists are the ones that went on a glass window breaking spree during a G-20 meeting in Portland many years before.

Well it is nice to know that was all there was.
We had been preached to about how all the cities would burst into flames if Trump won, there would be civil war, and we needed to prep for the 3 months before things would return to normal.
Didn't happen.:)

They are Soros minions. Bought and paid for. Soros should be on the top of Trumps deportation list.

Unfortunately, he is a US citizen, so deportation is out of the question. He is one rotten apple to be sure.

Thankfully. But that is what being prepared is. Being prepared for 3 months really isn't much anyway.

I thought that citizenship can be revoked to persons not born in the country , didn't that happen in the past with ISIS imported people ,it could have been England , but well done people I hope you start the building of the wall soonest may be involve the illegals that have been paid monies , that way a very small of money will be saved , maybe find some unused human cannons from a circus to shoot them over the wall afterwards , we could do with a wall here in South Africa , with the troubles at the moment in Mozambique we keep closing one of our border points

It can be revoked but it would be a lengthy legal process. You know Soros would have an army of lawyers, and the government would be hard pressed to find just cause. What laws has he broken? What has he done other than exercise his right to free speech? You may not like it, but that is his right.

Don't get me wrong. I don't disagree. I would send him back to Hungary in a paper boat, but IMHO it isn't going to happen, and it surely isn't on anybody's agenda.

When One set's a Trap for a Varmit, does that Varmit know where and when before It is caught...?!?
