It has come to my attention that one or more members may be under the impression that private messages/conversation may be included in the 1,000,000 or in your number of messages under your avatar. No private conversations are considered messages. In this software, the "message number" under your avatar is your number of posts. If we go delete happy, your message (post) number will go down. And the number of messages (posts) on the forum total will go down.
I hope that clears up the way things run for those few concerned about PMs, they are not counted.

I dont understand why you would go after the forum and staff for how something so tribal was set up. When it has no bearing on anything critical

Messages are posts in forums. Use to be called posts.
Private conversations do not count as they are not in forums, and use to be called private messages.

So in the million, there are no PMs/Conversations.

In all of the data, I am really curious who the very first member was? It was likely Swing or Havasu. Jim was certainly one of the first members.

And what was the very first day that this forum started? It takes things a while to get going, so what was the day that it was first conceived or discussed among those who started it?
