It is possible (maybe likely) that the WHOLE story about the Army chopper is a 100% lie.
Maybe it was some kind of covert operation/mission.

And why did ATC have the Identification of the chopper, and make radio contact between ATC & chopper pilot, and not tell him to turn on the transponder.
As that video I linked above indicated, it was an accident waiting to happen.

A systemic failure

Speaking from the White House - just over three miles from the scene of the disaster - Mr Trump at points acknowledged that it was too soon to draw conclusions as he encouraged the nation to pray for the victims, but he moved nonetheless to assign blame.

Mr Trump said "we are one family" as he expressed condolences for the crash. He then proceeded to attack political opponents and unleash grievances about diversity initiatives.

"The FAA is actively recruiting workers who suffer severe intellectual disabilities, psychiatric problems and other mental and physical conditions under a diversity and inclusion hiring initiative spelled out on the agency's website," Mr Trump said.

He added that the program allowed for the hiring of people with hearing and vision issues as well as paralysis, epilepsy and "dwarfism".

Officials say 28 bodies have been recovered so far after a regional passenger jet carrying 64 people collided in midair with a Black Hawk helicopter Wednesday night. The plane was approaching a runway at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
Here's what we're following:

Another thing that seems strange, they now claim the two aircraft were headed "Towards" each other.
Doesn't that go without saying, seeing as how they collided?

WHY they were heading towards each other appears to be the question at hand. I can't imagine why any pilot would not want every gadget in their toolbox turned on and alerting them of other aircraft in a congested area, and also making them visible to every other aircraft out there. Flying around at night, with no transponder, boggles my mind. Obviously a military aircraft wouldn't want to give away its position in a war zone, but Reagan Airport is hardly that.

This whole setup being reported seems so "not safe" to me that I just can't comprehend it having happened. In a highly sensitive (government-wise) location like Washington D.C. I would have expected the military, of all people, to be keenly aware of the precise location of any aircraft larger than a sesame seed.

I read an article earlier that said there was another close call with a helicopter a couple hours earlier. ATC is an on going problem. In this case they weren't clear about the direction of the landing plane. 'Do you see it' isn't specific enough... at night... lights every where. Seems the helo pilot was looking at something other than the CRJ. It's looking like it was a tragic but avoidable accident. :(

Now isn't that interesting... WHO important was on the plane?
No one important was on the plane as far as I can tell at this moment.

However.

The blackhawk helicopter that crashed into the plane was no ordinary training helicopter. It was a goldtop blackhawk that usually carries important people. We have been told that there were 3 crew members on that blackhawk, but no mention has been made about anyone else on the blackhawk.

Here is a MonkeyWerx video that explains the crash step by step. Sorry MonkeyWerx graphics are terrible, but the explanation sheds new light on things.

Look at the MonkeyWerx video I posted in this thread. The guy in that video says it was not a regular training blackhawk but a goldtop blackhawk that usually carries important people. Hmmmmm...
