this tiny country of mine,to evac all,about 3,8 million Finns
incase USSR would invade us to AK??

sure not only by the good heart alone,as US needed
people to settle in AK at that time,but still..

I had no clue.

When I was in school many years ago, Finland was just a name on the map in a far far distant land, not much taught about it, funny how much stuff we really don't know even from 1940.

neither did I,until they told this here,they even made a "documentary" about what it might have been
what it could have gone,interesting,if things had gone that route,I would prolly be living in AK
