Looks like most of my long term 'Talk' friends haven't posted in awhile. Wondering.
Hi VT,Checked the old bailiwick, not there of course. I miss seeing that yellow '53 Chevvy truck, and the alarms posted by my favorite tinfoil hat wearer, and...
Me too !..........I'm still here !...............
Good for them. That's probably where RR is hanging out too. Kinda concerned about our easily alarmed friend though. Without our steadying influence he could go into full time bunker-hunker. See, I have to pick on him even if he ain't around, just to stay in practice.
Personally, I'm well past the point where 'country living' is just too much work.
John Wayne, hands down. :wink:How about John Wayne or Chuck Norris? :Bart:
I agree with all those except the first 1 and maybe the second 1,never had a Glock or an AR-15 or AK-47 so I'll just take your word on it :wink:Maybe it's that all of the arguments have all been settled:
Glock is better that 1911.
Mini14 is better that AR15 and AK47
Ford is better than Chevy and especially Dodge.
IH is better than John Deere.
What else is there to talk about.

Without a doubt! When John Wayne said "Look Mister!" you knew **** was going to fly.John Wayne, hands down.
On what planet?Maybe it's that all of the arguments have all been settled:

Just trying to stir things up for fun. I don’t actually believe any of that stuff. Someone implied that there hasn’t been much in the way of conversation on the forum. Now we’ve got stuff to talk about. :stir pot:
My favorite line of John Wayne was to Bruce Dern in “The Cowboys”. “ Had my back broke, and hip twice. But on my worst day, I could still beat the hell out of you.”Without a doubt! When John Wayne said "Look Mister!" you knew **** was going to fly.
Chuck Norris was bad but he never had a good catch-phrase.
My dad would rarely use the phrase "Look Chief!" and we all knew to dive for cover.

Being a WWII vet, he rarely flashed back to Army mode, but when he did, we knew **** was going down.
My nephew was young and has an image of him holding the muzzle of a M1 Garand under a poacher's chin burned forever in his memory.
"Look Chief! I'll shoot you and throw you in the river with the other trash!"
I explained to my nephew that this was trained into them so they could 'off' an enemy without endangering fellow troops around them.
I'm sure Pops is down explaining to the devil that as a NASA engineer he's seen much worse metal fatigue in rocket thruster vanes than in the door hinges around there, and he should tighten up!
My nephew has that Garand today, and will until he dies.
I agree with all those except the first 1 and maybe the second 1,never had a Glock or an AR-15 or AK-47 so I'll just take your word on it
Well I worked on 'em!Just trying to stir things up for fun. I don’t actually believe any of that stuff. Someone implied that there hasn’t been much in the way of conversation on the forum. Now we’ve got stuff to talk about. :stir pot:
