Do you worry about your older relatives in a survival situation?

When I think of prepping for the crumbling of society, I worry that my older relatives won't last very long. Especially if they need prescription medication. What does everyone else think about this, and how to you prep for it?

My grandpa carries 2 handguns, a knife, and wears body armor. He also has a couple machine guns locked and loaded in his F-150. If one of 'Those People' tries to get out of line, he'll be ready for em.

In time those that rely on life and death meds unfortunately will succumb to what ills them. Most of those meds have a very short shelf life so storage isn't going to be feasible beyond 90 days and some of those meds have a 30 day shelf life. Not much we can do except make things comfortable as much as possible. We have to be realistic!

I have a lot of family most are in Pa.,if we get nuked they are toast even if I was there,,I have family in Jacksonville Florida it will be gone in the first wave,,,,I will be alone nothing I can do about it

Is there good data on most likely targets in nuclear attacks? I haven't researched that as much as I should.

All the maps in public domain are older maps from the late 1960s so keep that in mind when viewing any maps on the internet. Over half of the target on the maps are no longer targets and far more strategic.

Also keep in mind that a lot of the targets were also planted to deceive the USSR in thinking it was of strategic interest. The US has never officially released target maps unless it was declassified meaning the map are no longer an active concern. Then we have the internet arm-chair generals that updated the maps to their own perception of targets.

well I know it is outdated but Memphis,Little Rock and ST Louis I am sure will get hit and the Memphis airport also who knows what else near me,,,,,but for the most part I am in a fair location for survival

Only airports with 10,000 foot runway are at risk and may become a strategic target, if under 10,000 not overly concerned.

no me neither, all of my step family are too concerned about making a living and paying the bills, being prepared isn't even on their minds never mind the back of it.
