Yes, I do. I worked in IT and know that security is not only front and center but scrutinized by multiples of permanent employees, well vetted.

I used to be in charge of IT departments and learned that the systems are only as good as the programs and the people who do the inputs. I also don't know anything about IT, so I hired the experts that did know about the systems.

Seems to me that the billionaires are interested in our aggregate moneys, else why the shift of overall wealth go from the poor/middle class owning 50% to the top 1% owning 90%

The key word I see is hired. When you hire someone you have their credentials and a way to hold them accountable.

I don't even know why this is a concern now. Baddies have had our private info for many many years. 8 yrs ago my husband and I were notified by the military that our personal info was hacked by the Chinese. Why? Because he was a govt contractor. So they paid for a company to watch our accounts. But when you have a security clearance, and it is hacked, it's not only the employees info, it's their whole families info. Then last year, husband was notified by Social Security that his number was hacked. He was issued a new Medicare Card because of the hacking. And then there's the concern about Temu and other APPS that are downloaded and getting everyone's online CC info. Oh, and 3 years ago, our Sams Club Online was hacked, and someone used our credit card to order a ton of stuff to be picked up at a store in Texas. We had to go into Sams Club in Wichita to get a new card, and we had to cancel that credit card. This stuff happens ALL the time. And it's been happening for many years. If it's a concern of the left because they hate Musk because of DOGE and the bad stuff that DOGE has found and cancelled, well that's just dumb. This is nothing new.
