Ruby likes the Nylabone! My Skylar chews on one and every dog I've ever had loves those. I don't know why, but it works!

Nylabones and Bark Bones. She loves those and Rawhide treats, but she could care less for real antlers...

Hershey just came into heat, I was sort of expecting it since Mr. Bighead had been more of an ass than he usually is. He gets pretty triggered when there's a female in heat. Just had a talk with kids about keeping dogs separated and DO NOT let them near each other... maybe eventually I will breed her, but not with this pairing and certainly not now.

I shopped for collars last night on etsy. I couldn't find the seller I bought from last time. Of course prices have gone up a bit. I found one plain 1" wide leather collar with a name plate for $31. Could have a phone number/name etched on the metal plate. Most of the big dog collars were between $30 and $40. Of course they had fancy ones with patterns in the leather, saw a couple for $60.

Pardon if I posted this before, sorting photo's today and found this. When I play music the pup will come sleep at my feet sometimes. I keep rhythm with my left foot. He'll lay his paws on that foot!

When some people have dogs, and not children, they go all out on the dog's birthday. Darcie had steak and a pup cup from Starbucks. She is encouraged to "sit pretty" like this for photos.
Edit: not my dog, but one of the dogs I board.

It seems that my pups ... probably the male (Chess) has once again decided to chew on everything. Pillow cases, sheets, blankets, and now he's apparently taken one of my NEW socks from the laundry basket, and chewed the toes off of it!!! No idea what's going on.

Socks are something that often get chewed on when I am house sitting. Sometimes socks go missing. I have people reach out to me and ask if this is my sock, and it usually is.

Apparently Tracker is hungry, he brought me food dish. Then he brought me his collar and leash. The only time we ever put the collar on him is when we go to town, so I guess he wants to go to town today.

When I wear a hole in my sock I tie a knot in it and give it to the girl for a toy. she has learned that only the socks that have a knot in them can be chewed on. Every once in a while she gets a nice smelly toy and I toss out a sock with the smell worn off.

My pup was going thru his chewing phase during the covid lockdowns. One of the local shortages was shoe laces, no store had any. One day I woke to find he’d chewed the laces out of every shoe in the house. I had to use paracord in all my shoes, even my dress shoes.

Thankfully that was short lived. He quickly graduated to large objects like 5 gallon buckets...

Otto was mad he couldn't drag half a tree along today when I took him out. He was growling at it, barking at it, trying to get his jaws around it and couldn't ( it was maybe 12 inch diameter on the ground) too funny! I wished I had my phone on me to film that

I remember I had *Bag Balm Ointment* to treat various types of common, everyday skin conditions. So its great for lots of things : example under feet of animals or scratch

I forgot I had some... but I did buy a new can of that wonderful product
I know its working !!!!
