LOL. No seriously, my stupid computer is dying again. it would be in the shop now except I accidentally turned it on trying to unhook my swarm drives. It just shut off and refused to reboot, after it set for an hour or three it returned to life. I STILL say its haunted.

Or is it getting too hot? I think I recall a thread a few weeks ago where you said your fan is running high speed with regular frequency.
that was months back, it was the power supply. I got to looking it up, they say online that my flash that Adobe has stopped using is fried and I need an HTML5 install. Which I did. So far so good. It also turns out that there is a setting in Windows 10 that makes the computer reboot if the ram runs low, fixed that too.

Check the settings for Windows Update on your computer.
Look at the guidance in this link.

In step 3, it says it'll automatically do the updates when you're not using your computer. That means it'll start the computer, do the updates then shut the computer back down.

We have taken up collections for a few of our friends here. Anyone willing to help with that? I'd contribute, but I'm a little busy now so wouldn't want to collect money and then just hang onto it.
Always willing to help a member. If nothing else, can we get a Trac phone or something with internet / web access to him? Would depend on location but phones and unlimited web at least for surfing isn't too expensive. I will help but who is going to handle the "foot" work and assorted details? To add, any way we can support the internet / phone that was previously in use?
I have come to the point of disliking Windows so much that I went to MacBook Pro, I'm extremely happy, I still am in the learning phase but love the fact that it doesn't screw up things like Windows was so prone to do.
I second what Pearl said. AMC, can you keep us updated on Magus, until he gets back on his feet? Hope everything is O.K.
