Hey all I'm an East Tennessee boy and family man throwing around the possibility of trying to set up some sort of collective f you will. I'm a strong believer in strength in numbers. No one can do it all alone.

Being i an area where it's lonely definitely has to suck. We have plenty of people around here within a decent distance of us. My only issue is most people around here seem to be pretty set in their ways and believe nothing will ever go wrong.

that's my problem here;nothing will never ever happen..and if it happens we can't do anything,that seems to be the mindset here.
well I'll try to prep as much as I can and if it happens I'm as ready as one can be,don't trust much in my big eastern neighbor.

I enjoy a trip to East TN every now and then , Im in Southern Middle TN . There are several preppers in E TN and some groups . I do not know any of them personaly but have heard of them .

Thanks for the info it's appreciated and I will have to keep a lookout for some of them. Here it's my family (who all think I'm a little paranoid) and my neighbor. Then than them so far were on our own.

Get away from the tourist traps and alot of the locals have lived a preper/Frontier type life style in the Smokey Mnts for Genarations .

there are a ton of awesome places I would love to live in the Smokey Mt area of far eastern Tn. My problem is the wife is totally against any type living other than "Big City" if you will. Total opposite of me. LOL
