As the regulars know, I have a Special son. This year the Easter Bunny was a little lacking.

I had the regular, candy, chips and toothbrush (we get new toothbrushes every holiday) and a DVD.

I have a DVD recorder so I record all of his movies off of pay per view. He asked what it was and I had to tell him it is a blank because he has been here and I wasn't able to surprise him while he's here all the time.

I can't record today because the weather is messing with the satellite signal. Maybe some time this week he will get "Spies in Disguise".

Just drove to take my daughter some Easter ham and mommy mashed potatoes and the roads are flooding. Completely across in some areas. We are expecting much more.

It broke my heart to see my daughter and not be able to hug her. At least she and her husband like each other and are in a good situation. They are both still essential. She's a realtor and he's a pipe fitter. Don't know why those are essential, but.......

Wish this holiday was a chance to connect with friends and family but we all deal with it as best we can. Somehow a call or email isn’t the same as a hug or sharing a meal together but letting those close to us know we care is what holidays are about. Happy Easter everyone.

I went to town today get fuel and propane for the bbq. There were more cars on the road than normal. I counted 7 cars in the 20 miles to town. Normally this time of year I may see 2 or 3. This is to be expected; it's Easter. In town I saw several family's out with their kids hunting Easter eggs.
After getting fuel I stopped at the grocery store. The only thing they didn't have that I wanted was Corona beer. In town I saw several freshly tilled gardens. Nothing new there except for the size of the gardens. They were much larger than in previous years.
Here at home It's mostly sunny but only 39 for a high. I got the dog a fresh Easter bone and he's laying in the snow chewing on it. Life is good.
