Yes but notice how nimbly the dogs nab the rats just behind the head and break their necks.

I sure miss having dogs that get rodents for me. The current two look at us and tell US to go get them. That is beneath them. 
An ermine got into the folks' house. Mom and Dad chased it outside while the dog watched. I chastised her for two days. The next time the ermine found it's way into the house she dispatched it with haste.
I can tell ya, Eli hates lady bugs.

Cute as a bug
The boy got his second vaccine today.
He's growing ...4 1/2 lbs now, at 10 weeks old. He's really housebroken .
Still being trained to attack.
He destroyed wife's house slippers. Had to turn my recliner carpet rug over.

Wife brushes him everyday.
He's getting better about that.
He's 11 weeks old now and 4 1/2 lbs.
He still goes into "kill mode" with any outside noise , or God forbid someone come in. He only knows wife and me.

He learned today that something is behind him...

We love our shelter dog, we sing together when the train comes by and honks at a crossing, she goes ballstic when other dogs are barking on TV as well as when birds are sounding off. She's got a nose like a bloodhound and can smell wild animals when they come around and goes on a barking rampage. Her exercise is grabbing her chewy and running around the house, often throwing it into the air and chasing it. We just love her to death.
