If you want "EMP Proof Cloth" get some copper mesh.

Or better yet some silver mesh. That steel mesh in the cloth doesn't conduct electricity well enough to qualify as a Faraday device.

cant see the point in making something EMP proof if the EMP means that the power is down and nothing else works, better to learn to live without something and adjust ones lifestyle accordingly.
I keep coming across remarks on prepping forums from people that seem to want a pre SHTF lifestyle in a post SHTF world, dosent make sense to me.

I come here and read a lot of what is written,,so many worried the world as we now know it is going to end and we will be living in the WILD WEST,,,,,,,,OTHERS,,, SCREAMING NO ONE IS ENTITLED TO MY MONEY BUT ME AND MY FAMILY,,,,,,,
first I doubt we will ever be thrown back 150 years to a time without electricity ,I just don't see it happening ,maybe a few short term disasters because of weather or a earthquake but the whole country,,,,no,,,,,
as for money,,,,,,,,,,,,,,unless someone tries to rob you or hack into your bank account and we can not count the FEDS,,,,those bastards have already done it legally and what they take is no longer yours to bitch about

I agree on some things. Getting nuked: yup, can't do one thing about it. And I doubt most anyone here can survive a nearby nuke.
But other things, while you can't 'stop' it, you can prepare for it. No power? Make your own off-grid configuration. Have things that don't require power like a hand-cranked mill.
And some things you can do something about. No, I can't stop the whole world about it, but I can impact my piece. I don't have sex outside marriage, and I know I'm not going to be part of abortions. My small impact on my small piece of the world.
But I do agree, on things I can't change, accept it. And move on.

I agree that we make the world by changing ourselves, not others. And we can only be responsible for preparing for ourselves and our families. But there are somethings that no reasonable preparation will overcome, which may be unfortunate but true.
