I started using these Nuwick 120hr candles in the 80’s, great for camping or when the power goes out. Each can has 6, 20hr wicks, you can use 1 wick or 2, 3 or all 6 for cooking or extra light. They were paraffin so they don’t stink, odorless.

Sadly you can’t buy them anymore, the company went out of business about 10 yrs ago. I think I was down to one or two cans left and tried to order them online. Found out the company went out of business a few months before. I searched the net and found a camping store in san diego with some. I called the store, happened to be talking to the owner. He said they had a case left. I bought the whole case!!! 🤣

There are similar products on amazon when I checked tonight. Sterno makes a 100hr candle. Saw that a few asian companies make canister candles like Nuwick.

Anyway, I really like these type candles. They should be fairly simple to make, buy paraffin and a suitable wick material from a candle making supply.

I bought a little stove that folds up into a pouch to use with mine. I keep them in my long range travel kit. Similar stoves are for sale on amazon also.

Edit to add.... just checked. There are Nuwick candles for sale on ebay!
