unfortunatelly none here,so damn heavily restricted with everything :(

It depends on what I'm doing or where I'm going. If I have to travel to a city, which I avoid like the plague, I'll carry a 1911 .45 ACP or an XDM 9mm. In Alaska I always carried a S&W .500 for bear protection. On the trap line I carry a .22 single action Ruger with a .357 magnum Winchester Trapper 1894 in my backpack. Here at my BOL when the rattle snakes come out I'll carry a .22 magnum loaded with snake shot.

Mine are all either .380 or 9mm, so it's usually a glock 42,43 or a SW MP9c.

Springfield xdm 45 in the winter. Ruger Lcr 357 in the summer with always either a bond arms 410 or NAA 22 mag as a back up. If I wear gym shorts I have the NAA mini mag in a remora sticky holster.

I wonder how long some of you take in deciding which pistol to pack! I carry an Astra A75 in 45ACP unless my attire (very seldom) precludes it. Then it is a Kel Tec P32. For those that will wonder about my Astra, I cannot explain it but it just fits my hand so well and shoots to point of aim at close range so naturally that I know I won't miss. It also digests any round I put into it. While I personally believe in the big hole theory, nobody wants to get shot, even with a .32 and it is better than nothing. In an EDC bag is a Springfield XD in 45ACP

On another note, does anyone here belong to the US concealed carry Association? I'd like to know if anyone has signed up.

I've been to the website, but I did not sign up. I haven't heard much about the Association. I belong to enough organizations right now, so one more seems like money out of my wallet.

Some might think that sounds paranoid, I prefer to think of it as prepared!
(A) Not in the world we now inhabit, I wish I had the means to do the same (B) Superb choice in Calibre. I'm not getting into the Clibre debate it never gets resolved some love the big 45s others like the 9mm, I like the latter. if I could have a 9mm Compact pistol and a 9mm carbine I would be the happiest man on earth.

My favorite has always been the 9mm. It's big enough, and is the most common and economical round out there. Good enough for me. I am pretty happy with my collection of self defense weapons, and don't plan to assemble an Arsenal or anything, but have to admit that a 9mm carbine would be nice. Mostly as it would help consolidate the amount of different ammo rounds. I hear the carbines aren't real accurate with any distance, but would be a welcome addition if I ever come across a deal anyways.

Sorry you chaps can't have defensive weapons over there. I'm a little torn over gun control here. No doubt, there are a lot of psychos that don't need access to firearms. On the other hand, I really am glad I have the ability to have firearms to defend myself against those same psychos! I once saw a show about when the uk banned firearms. It was saddening to see them cut up all these meuseum quality weapons. A lot of them were works of art. I guess the upside is you have a lot less gun violence. We definately have a problem over here with guns as easily gotten as a soda.

The 9mm Marlin Camp carbine was a very accurate tool out 150 yards, as was one of those converted to 9mm M16s that were out over 20 years ago, the longer barrelled MP5 was bitchingly accurate at carbine ranges.

Course if I was American and loaded I would be carrying an MP7MK2 PDW.

Past 6-8 years it's been a Glock 17, last week started packing an old 1911 again.

This time of the year due to the large number of rattlesnakes around home my EDC is a Browning Buckmark .22LR. I never go anywhere with out it.

I jus got a inside the pant holster for my S&W 9mm. I wore it out today with an untucked shirt and am happy with the concealment, but not crazy about the comfort level. Walking is fine but sitting in the car wasn't great. I'm not really thrilled with open carry as I don't want the extra attention as I prefer to go unnoticed.

The Wife now prefers the S&W M&P 40c for EDC, I'm finding I am carrying the full size M&P 40 more often than my others even more so than my 1911 but who knows, I may change my mind next month and start carrying the Ruger GP100 357 again.

Unfortunately, I'm limited in what I have, as most are handed down weapons. I carry a .22 revolver in the GHB, but a LOT of ammo, lol. Eventually, I'll get a 9mm for this, but hard to justify the cost at this time. For now, I'm glad to have SOMETHING at hand. The wife has a .25 little semi-auto. (odd caliber, but kind of nice, just a little bit girly looking of a gun, but it shoots nice)

Some better weaponry at the house though, but still more I'd want to get. For burglar greeting, I grab the 12 gauge.....(and tuck a .38 revolver at the waist).

Ruger BSR9c w/17rd mag with Hornady Critical Duty and extra 17rd mag and either a Kershaw, Gerber or a Hoffman Richter knife, which ever one I grab out of the drawer that day! The Ruger is on my side even around the house also, never want to be to far away from a weapon!

Truck Gun is a ported Tarus Judge
Carry in Summer is KelTec P3AT .380 with an extra mag
Winter is Bersa Thunder .380 with an extra mag
Bedside Remington 12 gauge pump and Bersa 9mm with an extra mag
Hey, I have a question about your Bersa- my father could never get his to fire a full mag without some kind of jam. Did this happen to you/ did you have any gunsmithing done to it? The Kel tec P32 is always in my pocket.

What firearm(s) do you carry on a daily basis?
Considering I just got my CCW here in Commiefornia, I carry a Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9mm as a general rule. If I am going to less than desirable parts of the county I will carry my Glock 23.

Wish I could have a magazine over 10 rounds...

I don't but I too am curious if anyone on here is a member, and if so how they like it.

We don't have a problem with guns.... we have a problem with lenient sentencing and treatment of criminals.
Obviously, you don't live here in the communist state of kalifornia. getting guns here is not all that easy depending on where you live. The state as a whole has a 10-day wait before you can pick it up. Magazines limited to 10 rounds, and you can only buy ONE handgun every 30 days. Then there are the assault weapons laws that we have to comply with by January 1, 2018. Also starting January 1, 2018, you will need a license to buy ammo, and it will be subject to a 10% tax, plus additional restrictions on ammo.

How do you carry the smith 9mm? Mine was a little big to fit in my pocket comfortably. I tried an inside the waist band holster and didn't like it much. I've never tried a shoulder holster yet, but it may be an option in the winter with a jacket. I'm carrying a 380 now as it easily fits in a pocket, but it lacks the punch of the 9 that I would prefer.
