Got a zipper that just won't start or another that separates as you pull it up? 100% of my experiences, it's the pull. The little thing that's supposed to splice your zipper together.

They're super easy to replace. I won't give directions as there's plenty of online videos but it takes just a few minutes.

Every one of my Carhartt jackets zippers failed. For a couple $, it's a quick fix. I also just fixed a snowsuit. An expensive one where the zipper separates when you pull it up. It cost me under a dollar to fix it.

If you have a YKK zipper, inside the pull, there's a number denoting the size. Just buy the pull with the same size. I buy them in 5-10 at a time.

For other zippers, just get a generic kit off Amazon or wherever that has multiple sizes. A 25 piece kit might cost $15.

I've saved over $700 worth of coats in the last year by fixing the zippers instead of tossing them.
