Sorry I'm a day late. Here are my Friday Five questions:

1: How fast have you driven in a car? About 150 MPH
2: How fast have you rode on a motorcycle? 100 MPH
3: Have you ever been SCUBA diving? No
4: Have you ever been snorkeling? Many times in Hawaii and Southern California
5: What was the longest you've ever gone without sleeping? About 48 hours

1. I pushed Charlene into the 160mph range once on a long lonely stretch of interstate. They claim she can hit 175mph.

2. Probably 25-35mph on a off road dirt bike. Never really been a street motorcycle guy.

3. Yes, but I did not find it to be near as fun & exciting as other people do.

4. Yes, I prefer that to SCUBA but still not enough to do it again.

5. Somewhere in the mid 50 hour range, in the suck. You start to lose your mind after awhile.

1.) Somewhere between 150 qnd 160. The needle stopped at 140 (in about the 5:00 position) and it was straight down.
2.) Not very fast, maybe 35-40. A good friend had a little Honda 50. We weren't into motorcycles.
3.) Yes. In Mexico. Sea of Cortez
4.) Yes. Mexico, Hawaii, and California
5.) Probably around 48 hours, but it was a very long time ago.

Thanks for posting, Lenny. We were getting worried. Don't forget to pass the torch. :great:

3: Have you ever been SCUBA diving? No
4: Have you ever been snorkeling? a time or two
5: What was the longest you've ever gone without sleeping? at 36 hours I told the plant manager to stuff his head up his REDACTED and went back to the hotel to sleep.

I thought social media is the new Pen Pal.

;)

I kinda joke… haven’t been keeping up with the thread and I haven’t seen you around, so you got the reply, :p

Understood. But messenger on Facebook (example of Social Media) isn't like sharing letters/emails. All else is superficial and transient, like Instagram, etc. and everybody and their Grandma is reading it - - plus, it's not like an in depth letter...you know...like people used to write from overseas, for example. I saw letters in the D-Day Museum and it made me think of it. Maybe our society has become just a little too short attention span and disposable. I'm hearkening back to another era apparently. That time has come....and perhaps gone.
(cool young guns clip - thanks!)

Touché 😎 …. Yes - That’s no comparison to hand written letters, which is the only truly private corespondents today, but it’s not reliable.

Anyway, for staying on topic: The fastest I’ve traveled is when my meaning meets your ears at the speed of light. Praise the internet. Lol

150+ needle was bouncing off the stop
Timed at 125 on a drag bike in thev1/4 mile. Over 130 on a street bike. Dirt bike would do 60 +. Ran it down the strip once and timed at 68. Not much fun on knobbies, but it was badass in the dirt.
No

Something around 40 hours
