Its going to take awhile for him to find his ducks; those are geese, not ducks.

he was a 'stry dog', poor little thing. the unicorn probably reminded him of prior owner?
Our Maltese is so picky with food. So picky that we worry that he'll starve. Only to then find out at a check up or something that he's gained weight.
How?? You barely eat!
