My Army outfit in Nam was on loan to the USMC. The 1st Brigade, 5th Infantry Division (Mechanized) came under command and control of the 3rd Marine Division. We operated along the DMZ from Khe Sahn to the South China Sea.
Do you use the same screen name elsewhere? I've been kicking around forums ,like this, and gun forums, since before Y2K. the name sounds familiar.
