Hello! right now am a freeloader as wanted to see if we all were a good fit for each other before committing. Came to this forum quite by accident as despite many years of hanging on the edges of homesteading and prepping, had never heard of you all until reading one of Pete Thorsen's books where he mentions it. Am 75 and will never be a true homesteader. But at 75 and looking at retirement in the next couple of years want to add to what ever skills and knowledge I have to make our retirement years good ones. Skills and knowledge that will help us stretch our soon to be limited income in challenging times. Husband and I both have health issues more serious than we ever anticipated - aren't we all bulletproof when we are young!!. So what ever I learn here to cope with the changing times will be appreciated.
