I think they put that in there to target the AR-15, and avoid targeting traditional semi-automatic deer rifles. But that would also include an M1 Carbine because the M2 Carbine is a fully automatic M1 Carbine.

Just to clarify. I'm ignoring the idiots. 'toexist', 'skeeter' and 'tonto'. Note that you should pronounce it in spanish (tonto literally means dummy) not the Lone Ranger's sidekick. They are all the same person, at least of the same brain-damaged position. They serve no purpose here, and to discuss things with them only feeds the trolls.

GG & I don't always agree, but he does make good points and is willing to discuss most things. GG, I understand you have time to spare, and it's not mine to tell you how to use your time. But just know that you are hurting this forum when you feed these trolls.

Back on topic, Robin makes a good point. The nutjob only needed 10 round magazines. Most subcompact handguns can carry 10 rounds and most full size handguns can double that.

Note that the nutjob only stopped because his gun jammed and he was too stupid to clear the jam. He still had 3 or 5 more magazines to fire had that not happened, that could be another 10 dead children. All while coward cops hid outside wetting their pants.

The bill won't pass, this bill is almost a copy of the first draft in 94 before it watered down to the final passage in 1994. Florida turned down assault weapons band last week in wake of the shooting. The primary focus is going to be on age and mental health not an all ban. Never the less, I've been stocking ammo and magazine over the 10rnd that a few liberal state have mandated that and it doesn't help I am in liberal state, I'm just pre-empting the writing on the wall!
