LOL, in 1902, Qu Huanzhang invented Yunan Baiyao (Yunan White Powder) that does the same thing. You can find it in any oriental food store.

I've had some in the medicine cabinet for 30 years, and used it many times.

The little red pill is for treating shock due to blood loss. I have heard that you DO NOT want to take the little red pill unless you are about to die. I've also heard that the secret ingredient is cayenne pepper...LOL.

not being a professional about these things,would imagine those chest seals will be in the med kit for a long time still,but this product is a very nice addition indeed
