I recently saw this trauma kit from Dark Angel Medical. They seem like they'd be pretty good to have on hand, plus they offer training on how to use it which is probably even more important than the equipment after SHTF. But the kits and the training aren't cheap so I wanted to see if anyone had experience with them, before I spend a bunch of money I could use for other things.

I agree with Mav, build your own that’s tailored to your skill level. What good would surgical instruments do for someone that can’t use them? (Just an example). I’ve just never been a fan of pre made kits of any kind.
