One of the tactics of going to auctions. You look like you don't have two nickels to rub together. I have seen the poorest looking people driving poorer looking vehicles spending hundreds of dollars. I have read that to judge a persons wealth look at their shoes or watch, but it doesn't reveal much as far as I have been able to detect

I have read that to judge a persons wealth look at their shoes or watch, but it doesn't reveal much as far as I have been able to detect
A lot of very rich people are also very cheap. 
As for the "key" idea, yeah, we are looking to get a safety deposit box, with documents on where stuff is, safe combos, etc. So, if we go, our kids can actually locate everything. (not that they deserve it, lol)...
But, we are also looking to do all kinds of pre-planned and pre-paid funeral stuff, so that when the time comes, they don't have to lift a finger. (not so much out of concern, but more because there's simply a) no way they could pay for it, and b) no way they'd be able to follow any of our wishes).

Exactly, I don't know if they can get into a safe deposit box, think you have to have their name on it and they must provide a signature, better check on it. I believe this is due to valuables that the wonderful government wants to tax. I do already have my plot purchased. I have my instructions written and a will. That is as far as I have gotten.
