Been adding motion lights, both electrical and solar powered, and have security cameras in-house now. Anyne else have insight on security cameras..

Also, prepper expo coming to local area soon. Anyone gone to ne of these, and/or heard of the medical group that comes with them....99 bucks a class.

If you already have the cameras up, a bit late now for insight...hehe. Can get a hard drive to record. Personally, I want a system I can access via cell phone and see the camera images.

As for motion lights, I too prefer a combo of both wired in, and solar ones. Mostly use the solar ones out a ways from structures, where it is impractical to wire.

I know of several people who have put up trail/game cameras to at least be able to capture pictures to use after the fact. It has helped to catch the thieves on a couple of occasions .....however, on a couple of other occasions, the thieves stole the game cameras.

Trail cams are the way I intend to go. They are grid down friendly and can be ran off small solar. Need to use "bait" cams. The trail cams capture the BGs trying to take them out. You can always add cheap scopes to the trail cam lens to get better standoff also.

I was afraid the game camera would be stolen. When my new outdoor cameras are up, I may put up a couple of IR game cameras, in strategic locations, to augment the other cameras.

No, but I will when I do it soon. I have some high quality glass laying around from my digiscoping days that I plan to use.

If you get a scope close enough there is no fisheye

There are some low cost 3x magnifiers for red dots that may serve this purpose well too. I may get a stand alone camera and fit it for this purpose.
