Amazing how much information is out there and people still suffer from illnesses or cancer that could be cured. Paul Stamets is pretty cool, good teacher. I don’t know if he still offers it but he did offer workshops for learning about growing mushrooms. A bit pricey but I’m certain it’d be worth it.
Today in Wally World I found a mushroom growing kit. Of course I bought it.

When the mycelium blooms, show us pictures, Please.

@joel there’s a native plant group on dreaded fa*e b00k that offers “blocks” of the mycelium stuff, also for free. They say bring your truck. This is stuff pulled from mushroom “farms”. Of course we don’t want it to end up in the landfill so it’s a good way to acquire it. It would have been a 3 or 4 hr drive for me so I’m trying to find it locally.

That my problem, I would rent a dump truck, but none in my state that I know of. Mosses creek has it, but that no where near me.
This is where My BIL gets his log plugs & I will get my wine caps, as soon as the bed is ready.

I had to dig around on fa*e b00k to find the group. They also have a website. My husband grew some Reishi from a kit and other ingredients he purchased online. What I bought at Walmart today was an oyster mushroom kit in the gardening section, about $12.

From what I understand, which is very little, Reishi are not easy to grow, but Oyster are, indoors & out.
