Spent $250+ today on food! Yikes (usually it's $60-100). But last milk run was Aug 2, so I guess we're good. Most of it was honey $40, (real) maple syrup $16, and I scored salmon planks for $8! Bought ten, which covers us for about a year. I like the salmon, ocean caught, frozen and vacuum sealed on the ship - sell by date 10/26.

Plenty of fruit and veggies. The rest was staples, got a deal on Sanderson farms drumsticks for .97 lb. $9 worth, that I froze. Big bag of red apples $2.50 - wife made apple smoothies today. Yummy!

Not topped up, but fridges look much better. When I started this thread it felt like I was looking into our first fridge in my wife's college days, when our supplies consisted of day old pizza, frozen rice, and a half bottle of wine. ;) :D

Oh, and we got bananas for .27 lb, banana bread next week! OMG - we make the best banana bread! Give more as gifts than we eat.

Good job on the maple syrup and honey and meat stock up. Do it again next week. That syrup and honey won't expire.
Yes, we mostly use honey instead of sugar. We get 1/2 gal jugs of the honey. I usually keep four, but were down to one. We have two full jugs of syrup and about half of one in the fridge. (Call me strange, I like cold syrup on my pancakes.) A jug lasts us about a year.

I bought $298.00 in food, but with sales & coupons, I paid $209.78
